A Love Letter to Everyone’s Favorite Sales Enablement Technology

Dear Sales Analytics:

It’s Valentine’s Day, the one day out of the year designated specifically for expressing our love and appreciation for the important people in our lives. But can I also express my admiration for you, the technology that has made my business grow like never before?

I remember when we first met. It was a rough time for me. Sales expectations were high, but my team just couldn’t hit quota. I felt like we’d never get ahead, like we were wandering around aimlessly.

Everything changed as soon as you came into my life. I felt like I was completely in the dark, but Sales Analytics…You showed me the light.

Suddenly, I could see everything: the inefficiencies in the sales process, the missed opportunities, the sales activities that were bringing the entire team down. I was able to see from the big picture all the way down to each opportunity or sales activity.

My eyes were opened, and it’s all thanks to you.

I’ll admit that I didn’t believe in you at first. Sometimes, relationships can be one-sided, but the more I give to you, the more you give back. Data from Salesforce, our marketing automation platform, Outlook, CMS… You turn it all into powerful insights and action plans for every sales situation.

You’ve helped me become a better sales manager, Sales Analytics. I use my time better, I coach more effectively, and I’m finally able to see what I need to do to lead my team to the finish line.

There are so many words to describe you, Sales Analytics. Reliable, effective, rewarding, and helpful, to name a few. For me, you’re the epitome of sales enablement. You enable me and my team to succeed.

Honestly, it’s hard to imagine not having you in my life now. It’s like everything is so easy now, so effortless. And going back to the way things were—the darkness, the inefficiency—that’s just not an option. Instead, I hope we grow together, just as my company’s sales numbers have grown.
